WHAT IS REMY HUMAN HAIR?
100% Remy Human Hair is the highest grade of real human hair, so it’s what you want to look for when purchasing human hair extensions. Remy hair is hair where the cuticles are kept intact and facing the same direction, they are not stripped, which is what happens in most other non-remy human hair extensions. By keeping the hairs’ cuticles, and aligning them to go in the same direction, the hair keeps its natural appearance. Remy hair will remain tangle-free, whilst looking and feeling soft and shiny.
WHAT ARE 100% REMY HUMAN HAIR EXTENSIONS?
100% Remy Human Hair Extensions are hair extensions that are made entirely from Remy Hair - making them the most premium type of hair extensions. A lot of extensions on the market are labelled as ‘Remy Hair Extensions’ because they contain some Remy hair, but for the most natural and best quality extensions, it’s important to make sure you’re buying 100% Remy Human Hair extensions. 100% Remy Human Hair extensions are usually a higher price point due to the care that is required to align the hair, as this is all done by-hand. The hair we use has been carefully selected by our Beauty Works partners to ensure that all the cuticles are of the same length too. The hair is then bound together to create our extensions.WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SYNTHETIC AND REMY HUMAN HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Remy human hair extensions can be washed, styled and treated like your natural hair. If properly cared for, with the correct aftercare, 100% Remy human hair extensions can last up to 6-8 months, depending on the extension method. When it comes to synthetic hair extensions, these can be difficult to style and blend with your own hair, as they have a wiry or coarse feel to them. Because of the coarse look of synthetic extensions, they can appear more noticeable than Remy human hair extensions. Non-remy extensions don’t have the same lifespan as our 100% Remy hair extensions, lasting for as little as 1 month; they can become damaged from heat and styling, making their lifespan shorter.
